I'm Struggling

Hey Blogville!

I am back from one my mini hiatus. I missed you guys!! Seriously, I did. I have been going back and forth between the same 5-8 lbs for months and I'm disgusted with myself. I haven't given up, but I need to really get a handle on some things, primarily my eating. My working out has slipped a lot and I'm trying to catch myself before I completely backslide. It's been hard. It's been a struggle, but when I catch up on the blogs and see what I have accomplished, what others have accomplished I know I can't stop now. I have so much more to do.

So here I am. Trying to be transparent. I need help. I need support. I won't give up. This journey is not over yet.

  1. You can do it!! One day of eating right and getting in some exercise is what you need to get back on track, for me anyway I feel so accomplished of one great day. You are worth it girl, I've been struggling too. But there is NO WAY I want to go back to where I was. YOU CAN DO IT!!!!!

Do you have If not, I suggest logging what you eat to hold yourself accountable just for a little while anyways. You can truly see what you're putting into your mouth.

    Good luck!!

  2. Consistency is key, make it happen ...everyday!

You can do it and you will, if you want it bad enough. Really think about why you started down this path, write it down and never forget it.

My first blog post contains a bunch of precise and vague goals I had hoped to accomplish with this effort. When my motivation is down, I re-read it. Now, as I am starting to check off accomplishments, it's even more powerful.

  3. We all have those times where we slip up...lose motivation and just want to give up.
What counts is the thing you do next. Don’t let the past weeks affect today.
Make a good choice today….it will soon become easier and a habit.
Everyday will NOT be perfect and trust me it took me a LONG time to get my ass in gear.
You have to find that groove that works for you.

It’s too easy to fall back into old habits….so you gotta change it up. Get on a good plan for a week then take a break for a day. Like fruit salad and yogurt for bfast, a huge salad for lunch, more fruit for snack and a protein and 2 veggies for dinner. Sounds basic but it WORKS!

    You can do this……
Motivate yourself…write out some goals…..and put them where you can see them.

I had a goal to get to 189 lbs for almost 2 YEARS …but I never stopped trying to reach it!

  4. Thank you guys for your comments and continued support! You guys have verbalized why I think I have been having such a hard time. I have one big goal of losing weight, but I haven't actually written out how I plan to get to that goal or any real milestones to reach before that big goal. I know what I have to do! Thank you again!
