TGIF!!!!

Hey blogworld!! Temptation has been a bitch....and I have pimp slappin his ass down all week! ;) So since I started the fitness challenge I think I have had the opportunity to have something sweet all week long, but did I eat it? Hell naw! Instead I just kept my eyes on the prize, no donuts or homemade truffles at work, none of the girl scout cookies that I ordered and came in this week, not even the single portion pecan pie that I picked up at Walmart and then put back on the shelf. Nada. I have worked out 4 days this week and have been to the fitness class 3 times this week. I have been getting it in! I'm proud of myself for being on plan this entire week, but the weekend is here and that's when I have my mini meltdown with food. *sigh* But this weekend I plan to keep myself in check. So how do I plan to do that??? 1. Stay away from Chuy's!!! Right now I don't even know how to make a better choice, much less a good choice at that place. 2. Drink my water! I don't have a problem when I'm at work, but on the weekends sometimes I barely get 32 oz in. 3. Eat at home. I think I have eaten out every weekend since January and  I've got to cut that out. I'm making baked chicken parmesan tonight and roomie made black bean stew and salmon patties last night, so I'm pretty sure I'm set. This weekend I plan to win!

I don't know if anyone has an addiction to fat porn (weight loss shows except biggest loser) like I do, but I found another one last week that I put on my DVR.  It's called Fatchef, I think it comes on the food network. Basically the show is about chefs who work around food all day and are trying to lose 25% of their body fat in 16 weeks. Usually the goals are between 60-90 lbs. I kind of like the show b/c it shows the people in their regular lives, trying to lose weight, but at the same time the weight they lose in the amount of time they do it is uncommon for the common person. I guess for me it is motivating to see overweight people lose weight the 'natural' way. Losing weight is hard shit and if you have some support even in the form of a tv show, more power to you.

That's all for today folks! Have a great weekend!! No hospitals, no jails!
